Evaluation Sheet for the

Art Nouveau Scratchboard (Gustav Klimt)

(10 points each)

1.     You first cut out a photograph of a person from a newspaper or magazine, making sure that the picture was the appropriate size and included a good view of the head, hands, and arms. You neatly cut the picture so that you only had the head, the hands and arms.

2.     You then neatly pasted on the head, hands, and arms in the appropriate places on the piece of scratchboard, so that you left room to create the clothing.

3.     You used a scratch tool properly and designed and decorated clothing using line patterns. The clothing “fit” the photographed person and was more abstracted than realistic looking. Your line pattern was well thought of and neatly done.

4.     The overall look and appearance of your artwork and the time and effort you put into your work.
