Evaluation Sheet for the

Surrealism Sentence

(10 points each)

1.  You and your group made a “blind” sentence by one person writing a noun with an adjective, another person a verb, and the last group member came up with a prepositional phrase. Once everyone wrote down their individual word or words, your group put the sentence together and by doing so, came up with a funny or surreal sentence.

2.  The entire class was given a list of all the sentences that the groups created, and then you chose one of the surrealism sentences to illustrate. You then neatly drew a picture and background on a 12x 18” white paper that illustrated your surrealism sentence.

3. You carefully colored your illustration in colored pencils, crayons, markers, or used any combination of the three. You also neatly included the surrealism sentence in your artwork.

4. The overall look and appearance of the artwork and the time and effort you put into your work.
